Modano: Players will cave
The National Post's Allan Woods gets some excellent sound bites from Mike Modano on where the players stand at this point. It's too bad I can't link directly to the story, but it's worth it to pick up a copy.

SHOCKING to hear that Modano is now backpedalling furiously, using the tired old, "taken out of context" line. (That has to rank right up there with teenagers saying they were just "holding the dope for a friend" as the most shopworn lie ever.)
There should at the very least be an over/under line on how long it takes 'PA members to "clarify" unapproved remarks. I'll set it at eight hours...
