| For what it's worth, every NHLer I've talked to the past two weeks has said there won't be a season. They're also all near the lower end of the payscale and are very, very frustrated by how the lockout has gone.

Hey, you're talking to my crowd now :)
And yes, that is the same response and feeling I've gotten from all of them.
I've spoken to a few about a possible cap or linkage and whether they'd accept it and a few gave a backhanded yes, but I don't want to make any broad statements.
