OK, Blue Jays

How much longer will we be blessed with AL East standings such as these? Oh, sure, the one year I don't get a ticket package.

UPDATE Another win, another jump in the standings. Perhaps you may want to give me a hard time for blogging about baseball, but in all seriousness, the Jays are not just at the top of their division — they are one of the top teams in the league at the 10-game mark. OK, so it's not much, but we here in Toronto haven't had a hell of a lot to jump up and down about in a while.

The longer the Jays are in a place above everyone else, the better. We nee something different in the AL East besides Boston / NY, NY / Boston as it's been since the Orioles and Jays fell out fo contention a few years back.

I swing by to read your comments on the folks suing to still have the Stanley Cup awarded to someone this year... even if it's not an NHL team, and your talking about baseball. Jeez.

I think it's ridiculous to have the Cup awarded to another team/league. It has been the NHL's trophy for nearly a century — these diehard beer leaguers should simply give it up and quit tying up the court system with such frivolous garbage.
