A sportswriter at The Globe and Mail, James covers the NHL and the game of hockey. He is a member of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association, a senior editor with McKeen's Hockey and was the NHL network manager at SB Nation from 2008 to 2010. That was from the 2002 ESPY's. Samuel L. Jackson was the host that year and it was one of the skits they did that night. Not sure why, though, since neither Chelios nor Bowman were up for awards that year, as far as I know.
