Czech Republic vs Canada
for World Championship Gold

Radek Dvorak just scored 4:43 into overtime to advance the Czech Republic into Sunday's gold medal game against Canada. The Czechs have a history with playing Canada, including, of course, the famous shootout victory at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano. Even without Hasek this time around, the Czech team is strong in goal with Nashville Predators backstop Tomas Vokoun, who has played well in this tournament to date.

The Czechs do indeed look good. Don't you think George McPhee wishes that poodle Jagr had played with this kind of intensity in Washington?
