Desperate Hockey Housewives

Wow is all I'll say about the graphic accompanying my friend Adam Proteau's story for The Hockey News this week.

They are as vital a part of the NHL as any of its players, yet their goals don't register in any record books and their assists won't ever show up on SportsCenter. They're the women — the entertainers, the professionals, the homemakers — who are married to NHLers.

You have to hand it to those guys for coming up with yet another unique concept that will have issues coming off the shelves in spite of no hockey.
