Spezza, Staal, Crosby shutout

After all the haranguing over which of the three youngsters would be on Team Canada, it turns out none of them will. Only Jason Spezza and Eric Staal make the taxi squad that can play as injury replacement players.

It's completely unbelievable that the NHL's leading goal scorer (Staal) isn't on the team.

Well, it was also unbelievable when they left off Joe Thornton the last Olympic go around. Why can't they go with more of a "what have you done for me lately" attitude?

So does Crosby now play in the world juniors? He's eligible but will he be allowed to go?
