I'm getting a silly amount of traffic with people looking for video of the goal Malik scored in a shootout on Saturday, so here is a link I found that has it.

To be fair, if I were broadcasting and that happened, I'm not sure I'd react much differently, regardless of team affiliation.
They showed the goal at the Knicks game the other night, and then showed Malik, who was at the game, and he got a big ovation. Hoop fans can appreciate that between the legs stuff.
I love the call for the goal! No slagging his yelp of joy.
I love the irony in arguably the league's ugliest skater possibly scoring the prettiest goal of the year.
You know, when I scored one like that on a breakaway in my roller beer league two years ago nobody said, "Now I've seen it all." Sure, the goalie wasn't Olie Kolzig, but I thought it was amazing that I even hit the top corner.
Of course, I think I may even skate better than Malik. Okay, maybe not.
