Forsberg down yet again

Peter 'The Great' Forsberg left tonight's game against Carolina in the third period with a groin injury. No word on the severity at the moment.

It's 3-2 for the Flyers with 11 minutes remaining.

UPDATE A beautiful pass from the Hurricanes Frank Kaberle, who is quietly having a career year, set up Erik Cole for a breakaway goal with under four minutes remaining. In the shootout, Carolina came out on top as Flyers goaltender Antero Niittymaki stopped only one of the four shooters he faced. The Carolina Hurricanes are the top team in the NHL.

This New Jersey-St. Louis game on OLN is turning into quite a contest. The Devils just went up 4-3 on a 'shovel garbage' goal by Grant Marshall, ending a fervent Blues two-goal run that tied the game early in the third.
