A sportswriter at The Globe and Mail, James covers the NHL and the game of hockey. He is a member of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association, a senior editor with McKeen's Hockey and was the NHL network manager at SB Nation from 2008 to 2010. I'll admit that it was I who started the whole hockey apb thing back a few years ago when I asked Scott "where the heck is Dmitri Yushkevich".
At the time, I couldn't find him in HockeyDB. How was I to know that everybody and their brother was going to ask them where their kindergarten friend was now playing?

and if you can't find them on hockeydb.com, try www.eurohockey.net and their player tracker. They have a database of their own and have some Euro players hockeydb.com won't
