It's not bizarre; just funny.
So, why did a guy with a full head of hair like Theodore need this drug? That seems rather odd to me, and it's quite a coincidence that it also happens to be a masking agent for steroids.
Regardless, we now know one of the reasons for his recent horrible play. Obviously this has been hanging over his head for some time...
