Canucks lose, playoff hopes look slim
Sure, it's only 14 minutes into the game, but with the score 3-0 for Anaheim, I'm willing to concede this one. I have, after all, watched 40-some Vancouver games this season and know what they have — or, rather, don't have — in the tank.
A loss here means Vancouver's going to have to now win out their last three games for a sniff at the playoffs.
Frankly, neither Vancouver or Edmonton deserve to make them.
I'm going to watch the San Jose-Phoenix game. At least both teams are playing there.
UPDATE Jonathan Cheechoo works his (inexplicable) magic, scores his 50th and 51st goals and now it's 3-1 San Jose and David LeNeveu is in net for Phoenix. Which means it's time to watch the Sopranos. And the Jersey crime family better not run up an early lead on the New York boys or I'm going to bed early.

There's a strong case that the Canucks and the Oilers are better than all but the top 4 in the East.
