The Leafs win the Cup?

Or so says Maple Leafs reporter Mike Traikos as part of a 'dream scenario' in today's National Post.
First round of the playoffs: Toronto vs. Ottawa
Scenario: Dominik Hasek, who injured his groin at the Olympics, is unable to play when the playoffs arrive. Young goalie Ray Emery has never experienced the pressures of the playoffs. He allows a weak goal that costs Ottawa the opener, and the injury-plagued Sens never recover. Yes, the Senators dominated the Leafs this season, but remember that Toronto has the better head-to-head playoff record (Leafs 4, Sens 0) and so holds the psychological advantage. With that in mind, it would not be out of the ordinary for Toronto to upset the top seed in the East.
Outcome: The Leafs win in six.
Turning point: In a remake of David and Goliath, Zdeno Chara injures his hand against Tie Domi's noggin.
And on it goes. But before you flood him with email, please note Traikos calls the piece 'tongue-in-cheek'.

dammit, can't read the article anymore but if the leafs qualify and hasek can't go then it's not as unlikely as the year that the sens swept the season series and then had the Leafs sweep them out of the playoffs.
