The preseason predictions, Part 2

During the Olympic break in February, Jeff at Sisu Hockey — during a moment of weakness and/or boredom — took at look back at the preseason predictions of bloggers and the media.

The results, then, were interesting. (And one Mr. Jes Golbez was declared the victor.)

That was February. What would be interesting to know is the results of Mr. Sisu's survey as of late tomorrow night, the end of the regular season. (Only then will I concede defeat!)

(As an aside, man oh man are Sports Illustrated's picks off the wall. They had Florida in fourth in the East; Pittsburgh, Chicago and Columbus in the playoffs; the Rangers in dead last and Anaheim in 11th in the West. That's just plain disgraceful.)

Jade Monkey, eh? I'll have to do a better job of predictions for next season!

Still, can't complain, five out of ten is respectable, nosing out the inimitable Mr Cosh in the process.

And remember the immortal words of Toe Blake: "Predictions are for gypsies."
