These Ducks are mighty (Part 3)

This is an easy post to write now, but here's what I said 46 days ago in the second of what is now a three-part series:
I have a feeling we're going to be hearing a lot about Anaheim as a 'dark horse' team as the playoffs approach, but at this rate — 11-2-1 in the last 14 games — they won't be. They're one of the favourites.
Like I said, an easy thing to write now — and a bit of a pick-me-up considering how hysterically awful many of my first-round picks were — but with this team on the brink of breezing through the second round, you wonder: Who has a better chance than the Ducks right now?

Especially considering we haven't even seen coach Randy Carlyle bust out the 'Flying V' yet.

The only unfortunate thing is that, should Anaheim win, the 'Mighty' part of their handle will still be engraved on *gasp* the Stanley Cup.

Let's hope their success can be delayed one more year until they dump the last of their Disney ties.

Make it so, Emilio.

If they win, could their name be changed just so it doesn't say 'Mighty Ducks' on the Stanley Cup?
