Hurricanes move within one

2006 Stanley Cup Final - Game 4
Hurricanes 2, Oilers 1
Carolina leads series 3-1

A 3-1 deficit is definitely not a fun place to be for any team, and in the Stanley Cup final, it's even worse. For all the talk about how dominant Edmonton's penalty kill had been up until this series, it's been the Hurricanes' which has essentially won this series.

Edmonton is now 1 for 25 with the man advantage in the series, a cool four per cent. Whatever the final result, that'll be the story.

Either they'll lose because of their power play or win because they fixed it.

At this point, it doesn't look promising for the Oilers.

I'm waiting for Ron McLean to say, as he did when the Oil were down 1-0 in their series with Detroit and 1-0 after the first period of G2, that "the Oil have them right where they want them"

Rob Schremp as "The Hockey Jesus?" Is anyone in the MSM asking that question?
