A day with Stanley

I think veteran defenceman Glen Wesley wins for best use of his day with the Stanley Cup.

Here's a guy who's been waiting nearly 20 years to win this thing, and when he finally does for the first time, he's off for a tour of the local naval hospital.

I'd like to agree with you...but I wonder how many injured Marines are going to say, "What's that thing?"

Or worse - "Who are you?"

Because, of course, nobody in North Carolina is a hockey fan.

And because no one in the US Navy or USMC is a hockey fan. None.

First I'd like to say that it is NOT a hospital. I should know I live there. And second there were plenty of fans. And there is a lot of hockey fans in the Marines. Marines are from all over the United States. So yes there were some who donn't know much about it but there where plenty who did.
