Forsberg may not miss any time
In what has to be a huge relief for the Philadelphia Flyers, star centre Peter Forsberg, originally thought lost until January, may be on skates as early as September.
Doctors rediagnosed Forsberg's left ankle injury (the one not yet operated on) and decided he would not need surgery on both ankles after all.
"We got some good news finally," general manager Bob Clarke said. "It's encouraging, very encouraging. After the doctor's visit today, we were told that his left foot is only 10 percent of what his right foot was and that his right foot is a month ahead of schedule. We expect he will be able to start skating in September."

Pure BS.
They don't want to scare the season ticket holders away after jacking up the prices. Wait awhile until they announce that he's healing slower than expected or whatever excuse they drum up.
