Back in Toronto
Trip highlight: Playing tourist in Vancouver and cycling around Stanley Park. (Camping at Shuswap Lake places a close second.)
Trip low light: Flying Air Canada. Delayed flights on the way there and back, and an all-around awful travel experience. (If you're planning on flying anywhere after the recent airport security crackdown — reconsider!)
All in all, a good jaunt home.

Welcome home.
So what are the restrictions like on domestic flights? My plans include Calgary-Toronto at the end of the month, and I'm curious what things are like. (Never mind my Calgary-Dallas-Nashville jaunt in October. That sounds suddenly exciting.)
I think that in all of Canada and the US the restrictions are no liquid or gels of any kind in you carry-ons. (This can include things like toothpaste, chapstick, etc.)Basically, if you're unsure of whether they'll consider something a liquid/gel assume that they will. These things can, however, be put in your checked luggage.
Lighters are now strictly off-limits in both carry-on and luggage.
