Snakes on a Plane

Well, this day can do with a little silliness.

With Eric McErlain seeming awfully quiet lately, I thought I'd send him a friendly hello — from my old friend Samuel L. You see, as part of what is some sort of 'viral marketing' campaign by New Line Cinema, the studio for the new goofy flick Snakes on a Plane, you can send a personalized message from the film's star to any telephone number you please.

For some reason, I find this extra hilarious (and my apologies to friends and family who have been receiving these things).

On a related note, The Globe and Mail's Rick Groen's review of the film — which critics have yet to see — is rather humorous itself.
