Hockey Night in Puerto Rico

With Hockey Night in Canada still a few weekends away, at least we'll have something to look forward to this Saturday night:
Will this be the Slush Bowl or the Coolest Idea on Ice when the New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers hook up in San Juan for an exhibition game on Saturday? It could be scorching hot outside, but the game might just be a hit. ...

"We're looking at this trip there as an adventure ... a chance to sell the game," said Ranger GM Glen Sather, who was all for the NHL plan to put the game in Puerto Rico. ...

The Rangers won't be overly taxed by having to fly to San Juan because they have a fairly liesurely opening to the pre-season. The Panthers, however, are a different story. They had a short camp in Vail, Colo., then flew to Alberta. They're playing the Flames in Calgary Sunday and will be here Monday, then it's games in Atlanta and Chicago, before the long flight to Puerto Rico.
