The return of the Jets
Yes, it will only be one night, but it will be nice to see some NHL hockey in Winnipeg.
Hopefully the warm welcome the Edmonton Oilers and Phoenix Coyotes get will inspire some more franchise-relocation talks.

Good to see the Oilers kicking some ass!
I lived in Montreal for four years, and if the hockey fever is as big in Winnipeg as it was in Montreal (and I have a feeling it is), Winnipeg deserves a franchise. Take the Penguins, I beg of you!
As a Winnipeger I'd both love and hate for us to take the penguins. Pittsburgh is a good hockey town, and I'd rather a team like Nashville, Phoenix, Anaheim, or Florida move here before they win a Stanley Cup (I dislike not having teams in Stanley Cup winning cities. Winnipeg is on the stanley cup from the early years :) ) but then again, that team they have assembled is gonna rock in the next couple of years... So it would kick ass to have that team winning stanley cups for us. Ah well, its bound to happen eventually.
