You know it's preseason when...

... Ottawa Senators enforcer Brian McGrattan notches an assist on the power play.

According to NHL.com, McGrattan played a total of 7:12 on the power play in 60 regular season games last year — an average of seven seconds per game.

7 seconds? Wow, that's called getting on and off the ice pretty quickly.

*sound of heads being scratched*

*crickets chirping*

Looks like Brian is expanding his horizons? Hey, he once scored 20 goals in 30 games in the OHL. Maybe he's not one dimensional after all? Nah! LOL

Geez James, I think living in the City of Blue and White is starting to get to you...I feel like you're turning into a Sens hating blog.

While I don't condone Heatley's slash, and do believe he should be suspended, but at least McGratton is trying to bring his game to a new level. He did score his only goal on Brodeur last year, one of the best goalies in the league!
