Back on the ice
Much like old man Eric McErlain, who recently returned to the ice, I decided it was high time I stop the talk and get back out there. I'd let my hockey skills wither and die since I moved to Toronto, and hadn't played in four years before stepping onto the ice at the Powerade Centre this morning.
(Let's just say the gear didn't smell so mountain fresh after spending a few years sitting in Dad's garage back in Kamloops.)
And while my game still strangely resembles that of a gangly Cory Cross — minus the tears — it was nice to wheel around out there a bit. Name the time, Tyler.
