CBC Sports head quits

Nancy Lee, the executive director of CBC Sports, is leaving the network to take a job related to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, The Globe and Mail has learned.

According to sources, Lee informed network sports executives this morning that was leaving.

Thanks to those who emailed me about this. Lee was front and centre the past few years for a few controversial decisions made by the network, including letting Chris Cuthbert go during the NHL lockout.
