Highlight of the NHL season to date.
I would have a problem with this hit, except Darcy Tucker wasn't involved.
You kids have to remember to keep your head up!
Good on Avery for getting up... he's still a diver, but take away the trash-talk and the other antics, and he can hold his own in the league. Must be Crow's influence. Half of me expected to see video of Avery lying there, drawing a penalty, and returning for his next shift. Then I remembered, "Oh yeah, Ribeiro went to Dallas...". Huge hit though... Colin White is definitely not a guy I'd want to meet trying to get on the subway before the doors close.
Now that's what I call a sticky situation!
Great hit if you like considerable elbow. The Kings liked it--got 'em fired up to win the game.
ah, the old niedermayer directing a guy with his head down right into stevens' shoulder, only this time the guy with his head down was avery, so colin white gave him a generous helping of elbow to the face.
