Drawing penalties

If you haven't seen it yet, have a look at the fine work Chris Young's been putting together on Toronto Maple Leafs who have drawn penalties so far this year.

Anyone feeling ambitious enough to tackle the remaining teams?

For Buffalo, it has to be Derek Roy. He has drawn a ton of penalties this year, as well as a ton of diving calls, a few of which were deserved, most that haven't

Diving and playing with speed are the two best ways to draw penalties.

Diving needs a harsher penalty. I'm not a big fan of Roy and his balance issues.

Diving should be penalized very harshly. It's like cheating and goes after the integrity of the game. The NHL has to do everything it can to not follow the route of soccer with fake injuries. I say give a diver a 2 minute penalty and a 10 minute misconduct and no penalty goes to the opposition. Multiple offenses result in suspensions.

I say they execute someone right at centre ice, then and there.

No more problem with diving.

I guarantee it.

I am doing penalties drawn all season for Atlanta. My original plan was to update it at the end of each month, but I will do it more frequently if there is interest.

Jaci did a breakdown for the Bruins of the penalties, but not by player. She mentioned she would do this at a later date.
