Hitchcock gets a new gig

Same team, different role.

In what seems like a fairly strange arrangement, former Flyers head coach Ken Hitchcock is staying on in Philadelphia as one of the team's scouts. Of course, if a coaching position with another club opens up, Hitch makes it clear that's what he's interested in pursuing:
I'm grateful to Mr. [Flyers chairman Ed] Snider and Paul for getting the opportunity to stay in the organization and help wherever I can," Hitchcock said. "I don't make a secret that I want to be head coach again in the NHL.
