Saturday notebook
- Flyers defenceman Derian Hatcher posted a minus-two rating in Saturday night's game, making him minus-15 after 13 games. Hatcher is on pace to finish the season with zero points and a minus-95 rating — a number that would shatter Bill Mikkelson's 22-year-old record mark (minus-82).

I'm glad he was signed for three years. Don't want a stud like him getting away anytime soon! I checked last week to see Kyle Calder's stats, and at that point he had no points and was on pace for -92. Not exactly a great replacement for Zeus at the moment.
1) Hatcher was a liability in the old NHL. Anyone wonder why he sucks so bad in the new skating oriented NHL?
2) Whats the over/under on when he'll be placed on waivers?
As long as Holmgren (read: second coming of Clarke) is the lame duck interim GM, I don't think he'll be waived.
But if Ed Snider called me up today, that would be one of the first things I do. That, and talk Rathje into retiring.
Boy, am I glad that he's no longer a Red Wing. Not so much because he isn't very good anymore, but because I just can't stand him.
My day to be negative about everything, I guess.
