Today at Globe on Hockey, I take a look at which players are producing goals for the least amount of cash this season.

Topping the list? A cast of usual breakout candidates that includes Dustin Penner, Thomas Vanek, Ryan Getzlaf, Milan Michalek, Chris Kunitz, Jason Pominville... and a whole bunch more.

In terms of veterans, Viktor Kozlov, Darcy Tucker, Jason Blake, Ray Whitney, Scott Walker and Mike Knuble are up there with low dollars-per-goal totals.
