Stranded in Denver

A blizzard in Denver has postponed tonight's Flames-Avalanche game, while also leaving thousands stranded inside Denver International Airport — including Globe and Mail basketball reporter Mike Grange, who was on the road covering the Toronto Raptors' western road swing.

Here's hoping he's not spending Christmas sleeping on a baggage cart.

I heard on the radio this morning that they'll be opening the airport this afternoon, so the Flames shouldn't miss their game against the Sharks tomorrow night.

That's too bad for Michael. At least he got to cover a rare Raptors win against a Pacific Division team -- and without Bosh and Calderon!
