Today's hockey story o' the day was on the front of the Toronto Star's sports section, a moving piece about how Maple Leafs GM John Ferguson Jr. is helping his father battle a debilitating bone cancer.

I know from experience that cancer's tough business for any family. Here's hoping Ferguson Sr., one of the toughest players to ever skate for the Montreal Canadiens, has some luck on his side in his fight.
