Natural question: What was Chris Chelios doing at a Blues game anyway?

I thought they installed netting to prevent this.

Brian D in Macungie PA says:

I hope I can get to a game or two or forty-one when I'm 72.

Plaintiff's decedent [in his wife & kids' case against the refs and the league] survived the first unreviewed goal non-call, but Mr. McGoo's waving off the second when the play was right in front of him [that puck WAS loose!] late in the 3rd was just too much for him. I almost had a heart attack also, but I found counselation at the thought of moving down to an earlier 2007 draft pick [hello Angelo Esposito!]. Bryan Murray's post-game comments were nauseating. I'm suprised at how much I still hate his guts from his time as the Wing's coach and it's NOT because of his speech impediment!

Soberingly timed comment, what with the 5th year anniversary of the reason for that being just 3 days ago. :-(

This is the kind of thing that fuels ghost stories years later.

I attended the Blues game last night (3/27). Apparently the man who died was a season ticket holder for 40 years (since the start of the team!). Before the game, they did a moment of silence for him. His wife was at the game last night too. At least he went out doing something he must have loved.

He died of a heart attack after the game. No need for some of the stupid remarks. Have some sympathy.
