Jolly olde England

I've seen a lot of strange things happen with regards to the traffic to this site, but today's visits have been as odd as they come so far:
Half of the UK's hockey fans must have stopped by here today given the sudden British invasion due to this post about the Wightlink Raiders from last night.

Welcome all — and feel free to regale us with tales of Tony Hand if you like. The Edmonton Oilers could sure use him now.

Maybe they'd like to send the Wightlink Raiders over to play the Oilers. God knows we could use the point.

So they'd lose in overtime to the Raiders then?

The Oilers should bring back Bob Beers and Darcy Martini, the "happy hour" line.

I remember my blog getting a bunch of hits from the UK when George Gillet bought Liverpool, hehe.

Always interesting to see some hits coming from random countries. You ever get any from parts of Asia you've never heard of before? Bots maybe?

But they'd look good doing it, I'm sure.

Checking out the location of your visitors is a fun way to waste time.

I always just assume that the hits from Asia/Oceania are ex-pats.

I'd like to take credit for any hits y'all receive from Taiwan.
