Broadcaster Mike Toth is filling in on the Fan 590's Prime Time Sports for Bob McCown today, which is an interesting arrangement given he's on a paid leave of absence from Sportsnet Connected after getting in some sort of a skirmish with a producer there.

A sportswriter at The Globe and Mail, James covers the NHL and the game of hockey. Caught some of Toth with Shoalts on the show today.
He didn't come across as the wise-cracking smartass that he always seems to be on Sportsnet Connected.
That shtick gets tired real fast.
did he get to keep all his Sportsnet Connected dark striped shirts and blazers? Somewhere in that building there's got to be a giant box full of old ties.
"Paid leave of absence" must be a theme this week or something.
My money's on head-butt, given that Touret's thing Toth seems to have. If there's a tougher guy to watch in all of TV, I don't know who it is.
Does this mean that his on-air blowup with Jamie Campbell was NOT a prank as it was spinned?
