Have we seen the last of...
Brian Leetch and Jason Allison?
UPDATE That was the question posed by Leafs Lunch co-host Jeff Marek today on the show, and I think it's a good one. After all, both players made overtures all year about wanting to return, and when suitors didn't come calling, they opted to sit out the entire season.
Does that mean they're done? Leetch is 39 and has played just 62 games in the past three years, but Allison is just 31 and could potentially help a terrible team on the power play.

Slow day?
Pardon?
We saw the last of Leech last year
and Allison too
WHO?? ;)
They're sharing a room with Elvis.
Considering how they might be able to provide a useful presence on many a team, one has to wonder what salary demands and other circumstances kept them from latching on somewhere.
With Allison, you don't have to include the phrase "other circumstances." He whined about his pay packet everywhere he played. Taking the league minimum for being a PP specialist is still better than working the drive-thru at McD's, assuming he's qualified.
And with Allison, the power-play is the ONLY place you want him. If memory serves, he was absolute shit everywhere but there.
Did Leetch really show that much of a loss in '05-'06 that no one wanted him? I didn't see that many Bruins games.
