'Is it Ty Conklin time?'
I just heard that phrase on the local sports radio and figured it was worth a post on its own.
Maybe Oilers fans can fill us in here.

Miller isn't the problem. The rest of the team's effort is the culprit.
I love watching Sabres fans self-destruct.
A jinx to reverse the jinx? Brilliant, I say!!!
Berger's Response: "Only if it's Martin Gerber time down the rink"
It'll be like a repeat of last year's finals! With the backups.
That's why Buffalo is losing.... there's some force that will not allow Ty Conklin to be part of two finals in a row.

Nah, I think a stronger case can be made for the Martin Gerber factor. He's becoming absolutely money in conference finals (provided, of course, that someone else is playing goaltender).
Gerber has already backed up two Conn Smythe winners, and a third isn't out of the question. He's a rabbit's foot in goalie gear, that one.

Don't forget that two negatives make a positive, anonymous. By that logic, Conklin should start, and Conklin will help them win it in 7.
Or he'll skate down the ice, block a Buffalo shot, and then break in 2 on 1 with Alfredson and assist on the series winning goal. I think that scenario is more likely than him actually winning a playoff game.
Definitely Conklin time. Why not put Buffalo out of its misery once again?
I think the bigger case would be made just to shake things up on the team, really. If your team is being lazy (which I think Buffalo is), then replacing the starter shakes things up enough that they sometimes snap out of their haze. Unfortunately, I think it's a bit late for that here!
