Senators fans get rowdy
If it comes down to where Ottawa's on the verge of winning the Cup, I think there's a pretty good chance I'll be jumping in my car and heading up that way to join the party.
Say what you will, but after so many years without Canadian participation in the final, it's sure been nice to see the passion come out three seasons in a row.

I was there when this happened... that crowd went the entire length of Elgin St all the way up to the steps of Parliament Hill, and it stayed that way for most of the day and night. Crazy. Ottawa's a fun place to be right now.
And as usual, for the 3rd straight year, Gary Buttman will have a non-traditional hockey market (Anaheim) and a Canadian team (Ottawa) in the Finals.
03-04: Tampa/Calgary
05-06: Carolina/Edmonton
06-07: Anaheim/Ottawa
Just the way he wants it. Sad. Buffalo and Detroit will never have a chance as long as Buttman runs the league. Not a surprise the way officiating has gone in the Detroit series.

Curious statement I've highlighted here, considering the last four games Detroit has spent 23 more minutes on the power play than Anaheim has, including a 5-minute major and nearly 5 minutes of 5-on-3 time (to Anaheim's none).
Sure Anaheim's notoriously "dirty" and Detroit's notoriously "disciplined" and I'm sure you have your favorite missed call or bad call to point to, but come on. You've been listening to too much Brett Hull.
When planning the obligatory Cup-winning riot, could the people of Ottawa please consider including Parliament. At noon.
