Pronger's trip home
Eventually real life – consisting of being one of the NHL‘s biggest names and a new Stanley Cup champion – resumed and enveloped this Northwestern Ontario town on Wednesday as Pronger made a public appearance alongside hockey‘s Holy Grail that culminated with a parade and a photo session involving over 2,000 people at the Dryden Memorial Arena.
Declared Chris Pronger Day, which in reality was a quick 18-hour stay for the Anaheim Ducks defenceman (and just a four-hour stopover for the Cup), organizers made sure to use every hour of it wisely, handing Pronger the Hoc-Key to the city, retiring his Eagles high school jersey and renaming the second rink at the arena after him.

Is Pronger going to go to Edmonton with the Cup and have a street party there - Like Ray Bourque did in Boston after winning the Cup with Colorado?????
Just what the guy's ego needs (Spits).
