The LA Times went big on the Cup:

Two more smaller California dailies:

The Miami Herald was one of the few big American dailies to go with a front page treatment:

Very cool collection -- thanks for putting these together...
James, great selection. The Winnipeg paper has Selanne holding the Cup (go Jets go) and the Edmonton paper has Pronger holding the Cup!!!
Thanks for the examples. L.A. Times had Webbed Feat for its sports front headline. OC Post is a separate publication but still done under the direction of the OC Register, but OCR's headline was Cup-lifting Experience.

Dunno if that'll show up...Vancouver Province front page...Ducks get a small mention at the top.
Hey Golbez — use an HTML tag!
"559 front pages from 49 countries"
Knock yourself out, James.
Heh, where do you think I got these ones from?
Don't have a scan or a front page, but the Duck's victory made the back page (so quite visible) of 'The Australian' today.
I was quietly chuffed.
