Chicago signs Lang
Robert Lang is a Blackhawk, and probably their top-line centre this season. Lang gets a two-year deal despite coming off what was a fairly dismal campaign in Detroit.

Heh, Lang and Williams. Chicago is happy to pick up the junk players that Detroit doesn't want. Maybe they'll sign Calder back too.
Let me guess Nick, you're from Detroit?
Actually, the signing makes some sense. Havlat and Lang have played together before; Lang keeps the spot warm till Toews is ready; and he's got more offense in his game than Handzus.
Oh, and Nick, how do you like those 40+ yr. old ex-Hawks Chelios and Hasek?
I'll add Lapointe to that list too... And I would argue that Chicago would have done well to hold on to Chelios and Hasek. Especially Hasek.
But you know, I feel like I'm rubbing salt in a wound. Wirtz has been crapping on the Chicago fans for a long time.
