Other NHLers at the WSOP

We certainly heard enough about Rick Tocchet and Maxime Talbot taking part at the World Series of Poker, but two others were also there: Jeremy Roenick and Travis Green.

A new trend, perhaps?

Green, in particular, looks as though he's got some talent, as his winnings at the WSOP in 2005 and 2007 top $50,000. He finished 12th in one event during the lockout, which was good for $35,000.

It would be interesting to see how much he's spent in buyins. I'd guess that he's very possibly down some money despite having won >$50K.

As far as I'm concerned, you can NEVER hear too much about Max Talbot.

Well, they have the money, and they have the time on planes/in hotels to practice.

Upon arriving in Toronto, Green immediately took over the title of Poker Champ of the Leafs.
