Coyotes re-sign Ballard

The Coyotes signed the last of their restricted free agents on Wednesday, agreeing to a two-year contract with defenseman Keith Ballard.

Ballard, 24, had five goals and 27 points in 69 games last season and is considered a key building block for the future.
