Gearing up for the Super Series

There are a couple nice Canadian Press pieces up today on the upcoming Under-20 tournament as well as a look at Team Canada's roster. The team is practising in Mississauga on Tuesday morning, for those in the area.

The series kicks off in Ufa, Russia, next Monday, and then heads to Western Canada for Games 5 through 8. All games will be televised in Canada.

Televised and broadcast online on tsn.ca. No tv at work? No problem.

We've got a 42" in the kitchen but the games in Russia are a bit early for me to say "But I'm having an early lunch..."

Color me jealous. Is there any chance of it being televised (or broadcast online) in the US?

I think US fans are out of luck. Just gauging by this press release where they mention how they'll serve Canadian viewers etc, etc.

Too bad the Internet wasn't accessible worldwide and they could broadcast the games across the globe...

so...has anyone figured out a way for non-Canadian viewers to access the TSN online feed?

...hypothetically, of course?

road apples,

Hypothetically you *could* search for a site that provides free proxy addresses. Then you could possibly find one located in Canada and then may be able to plug that in to your Internet Explorer/Firefox network settings.

Then theoretically you'd appear to be coming from Canada. This is all conjecture of course.

Too bad my financial situation wasn't very strong when the tickets for the Toontown game went on sale. Oh well, I got a NHL pre-season game to go to that month, as well as the Blades' season opener and a Riders game. Not to mention the usual fall blitz of bands that come to town. Can't get too greedy, I suppose.
