The Panthers' broadcast team
The Panthers on Tuesday made official their radio broadcast team for this season: Former analyst Randy Moller takes over as play-by-play announcer and former Panthers wing Bill Lindsay becomes analyst.
The TV announcers will be Steve Goldstein - who formerly handled radio play-by-play - and analyst Denis Potvin.
Lindsay, 36, is going directly from playing in Germany to the booth, which isn't exactly an easy transition to make.

In a related item, Potvin wrote a guest column in the Globe Sports section wherein he claims to be the best hockey analyst in the world and that he's still bitter Harry Neale and Kelly Hrudey are considered by Canadian fans to be superior.
Parental Warning: Must be old enough to remember Canada Cup '76 AND Canadian Weekend magazine.
