I've got my tickets for the Saskatoon game with the Flames and Panthers. Even though it's just pre-season, I can't wait!

NHL is always trying to find new markets (sunbelt in US, regular season games in Japan and England)but I think the league is looking too far.

There's better places like Hamilton, Winnipeg and Quebec - places where hockey sells.

Nashville needs a rally to sell 14.000 tix on average. No worries to sell 18.000 in Canada.

Yeah, I'm going to the Saskatoon game as well. Not a fan of either team, really, but it'll be nice to see pros play here all the same. It's a rare occasion for me to see a NHL game in person (last one was 4 years ago on a vacation to DC), so whether it's pre-season or not is somewhat immaterial.

the best game they could come up with for North Bay was Atlanta v. N.Y. Islanders? ouch.

I like when the NHL plays preseason games at neutral sites, as long as the matchup is appealing and it's at a place where minor league hockey is popular.
