This guy's going to need a raise, me thinks.

I don't imagine a $100,000 car is going to put much of a dent in his finances.
He's making a little over 3M for the coming season alone, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he already owns a few of such cars, or perhaps more pricey options along with the inviteably exorbitant insurance rates.
Seems a rather impersonal birthday present however, Duff can easily afford it herself so a flashy expensive present probably isn't going to impress her all that much.
She can easily buy what she wants herself, so why not do/buy something with a bit more personal touch that'd probably be more appreciated.
Such expenditures probably aren't a major deal for professional athletes/big name singers/actresses like them, at least not bought individually.
Rand is right! I'm sure that Hilary would have preferred a homemade card! :)
All I have to say about these two is "ew".
Will they take it on a nice drive next summer to Mikey's hometown of Edmonton?
If I'm not mistaken, Comrie's family owns The Brick, so he'll probably be okay.
He was always the richest Oiler and is up there in the league.
He would still be rich even if his hockey experience was limited to weekend pickup games.
His value, however, is based on his father's family fortune.
Let's just say that he grew up in a family that didn't exactly have to scrimp to pay for hockey - or hockey school - or agents' attention.
You're right Rand, he should have gotten her a personalized Islander Jersey! eye roll! Hey, guys chasing girls is as old as our species; and us men use anything we got: if we have a lot of money we buy girls expensive gifts, if we don't have a lot of money we get them expensive gifts on credit! I sure hope the car 'sealed' the deal ;)
I think the old man sold the Brick off a while back and gave the employees impressive stock options.
What a crappy store. Unless you're looking for high end stuff you might as well be invisible. This is the most exciting NHL hollywood news since jerry o'connell and cuba gooding jr. were at the Stanley Cup final.
