Emery's traffic mishap
So much for Ray Emery steering clear of controversy.
The Ottawa Senators star goaltender found himself in the middle of yet another traffic incident Wednesday morning, as he made his way to Scotiabank Place for his first workout of the season.
According to Emery, another driver cut in front of his Hummer, as he exited the highway near the arena. Following a heated exchange, involving hand gestures and some choice words, the other driver went directly to Scotiabank Place to file a complaint about Emery's actions.

Typical.
Reports are the other driver was Andrew Peters.
I don't know what makes the city Ottawa look more button down and boring:
1) That the other driver immediately filed a complaint over a small traffic incident.
2) That the city's leading newspaper allocated resources to following up and reporting on it.
3) That I'm taking time to comment on it from my government job in Ottawa.
I badly need for this season to start.
"I daresay, that gentleman has gesticulated rudely towards me, I shall follow him to his place of employment and register a formal complaint."
Maybe this is why you shouldn't drive a Hummer. With something that big you're prone to hit everything...
1) No word if Emery was wearing his patented Puice suits at the time.
Why didn't Ray just chop the other guy in the mouth with his stick?
The dumbass who cut Emery off should have checked what side of the border he was on. In Canada, filing a complaint over something caused by his own stupidity will only have people laughing at him. He needs to be in the US to sue for millions...
Thanfully the guy filed a complaint or we would all be talking about Emery in his military vehicle, chasing down a senior citizen, getting him to pull over, getting out of his car, and threatening the guy.
That could have been disastrous PR for the team. Whew.
