NHL Network heads south

The NHL Network will launch in the United States beginning Monday, Oct. 1. The channel, which started in Canada the fall of 2001, is based in Toronto and jointly owned by the league, TSN and Insight Sports in Toronto.

Well, it will be interesting to see if any cable systems carry it! My system's web site has no information on it at all.

Anyone have any idea on what channel this will be on DirecTV? Finding any info from them is like pulling teeth.

Oh terrific! It's been a struggle just trying to get the Big 10 Network Comcast. And now I have to double my efforts?

I just spoke with a customer service representative at DIRECTV, and they have no information on when (or if) NHL Network will be carried by them. Center Ice is a must, but I still have a serious jonesing for a show like NHL2Night.
