The search for hockey's Yao Ming

Okay, maybe not. But this is an interesting story:
National Hockey League team San Jose Sharks will send players and coaches to China to compete in the Asia Ice Hockey League as part of a co-operation agreement to develop the sport in the world's most populous nation.

The Sharks will lend three coaches and five players to join the China Sharks in their campaign against Japanese and Korean teams in the Asian league's new season which starts in Japan on Saturday, the China Ice Hockey Association Web site said.
I'm going to see what else I can find out about this.
